He told me how busy he's been "cookin' on the grill" getting the core ready to get the mould tool built; massaging the contours, checking fitment, trunk clearance, MAP sensor and Ford MAF locations, ports, and just making absolutely sure everything was right.

Man, I've been holding off for a long while to go to a BLOW THROUGH MAF setup and soon I'll be getting my hands on one of the first ones, after him of course... then finally be able to chuck those straws my turbos have been sipping air from. So, he showed me a few pics from his Blackberry and damn it looked good! I had to somehow get the pics to share with you guys, so I told him I needed a closer look so while he was looking underneath a GT3, I was able to quickly email the pics to myself so here you go...

Wow, that looks like some pretty nice work! Any ETA on this? I strongly suspect my car is having breathing issues up top with the current soda straws and I am likely maxxed on the MAF. Being able to solve those issues would be awesome if the price were right. I'd love to be able to draw intake air from where the intercoolers get their air! What tuners are supporting this MAF? I would like to continue using the tuner who previously worked on my car in the future, I guess I'll have to chat with him at some point

They're custom Turbonetics hybrids with T3 hotsides and E-family compressor wheels. Capable of supporting about 500HP/turbo.

It should be ready by the 4th of July! He's gonna continue to be hard at work for the next few weeks getting this done. Shoot... he better I'm counting on him too, I need this thing badd! There's a few more things to follow after the Blow Through Y-Pipe then Todd at PROTOMOTIVE will be handling the tune. Need I say more.

actually if you get an intake plenum and a higher flow maf, you will be fine, unless you are pushing over 700 whp. The factory Turbo intake tubes are worthless if you go with larger turbos than factory. But with factory turbos the stock plenum is good enough.

What turbos are you using? What tune?

I'm actually running IPD Plenum and 75mm TB and seems to have a better throtle response, quicker boost response especially in mid-range band. I would strongly recommend this addition based on my experience.

Not my Yellow baby. Mine is still chugging along. Mike came by last night to show me his new toy. WOW, very impressive. I wanted to match the two Yellow Cabs now in its current state. It may be my only chance to get my car on video out in front of his. I figure by next week, I will not have a chance.

Carbonetic Triple Disk Clutch Install

IPD TurboMike wastes no time at all! He just got the Carbonetic Triple Disk Clutch Installed! done by one his best friends. I got to meet this guy and also spent a good afternoon with TurboMike watching the magic happen. It was a real pleasure seeing his buddy work very efficient and painless throughout the whole installation process. Real excellent work!

Yep, I like mine too. A little noisy but very solid. Great price too. It should hold 800HP to the wheels.
