It seems like my ATS is only a little noisy when I push the clutch in. Why is that?

 

These clutches are supposed to be noisy. Some chatter is normal especially at idle. I think Turbo Mike should come up with a good solution for this, what do you say Mike?

 

Throughout bearing and sleeve. If you listen to Mike’s video, you can tell when he engages the clutch. Mine does it too.

Exactly, mine sounded just like Mike's clutch. I could tell when he was engaging the clutch. I didn't know it was the throughout bearing and sleeve that was causing the noise though. Thanks for the info.

 

He told me of a few ideas he had to lessen the noise. I am sure we will hear (or not) of his progress.

 

if you perfectly balance the entire rotating assembly, you will probably cut out a bit of the noise

 

Mike's working on it and he will let us know. He fixes everything.

Just got these pics from TurboMike of the first IPD Blow-through Y-Pipe coming out of casting! He told me tomorrow's gonna be the day to get it into machining and surface finishing. Oh yeah it's gettin' close!

 

I saw this piece in person today,The quality is amazing and it wasnt even the finished product WOW!!!!!! Cant wait to have this on my ride!
