Two-Tone Interior?

Two-Tone Interior?
So I picked up a Seal Grey / Grey Leather (Everywhere, literally everywhere) X50 even though I didn't love the grey interior, because the car was that nice. I'm thinking that the interior is a little boring, and was looking to maybe switch things up a touch. One thought was to paint the center console Seal Grey, but I don't know how that will look with the light grey leather right next to it and everywhere else. What do you guys think of changing the carpets and mats to black, leaving the seats and panels grey leather? This isn't a very complicated swap, and wouldn't be that expensive, either. I'd love to go with charcoal carpet, but Porsche didn't make that, and I don't want to worry about the quality of a dye job from an aftermarket shop. Thoughts? I have a thick skin, so flame away.

I think interior colors/combos are entirely subjective, and whatever you like is what's right for you That being said, it sounds pretty cool what you're thinking of. My TT has the natural brown leather with a black center console, dash surround, etc. I love the two-tone look

I have the same interior/exterior combo and I am painting my center console seal gray right now. I'll post pics when completed. I'm also painting the plastic parts in the trunk seal gray and the "y" pipe seal gray too. Stay tuned..

Check my signature for pics of my car. I have a gray interior and black carpet.

Black carpet/mats will look great. Also a few carbon bits (console, horseshoe, vents, shifter, etc...) will help with the contrast.
