Ran a LP560-4 last night
I had a chance to run a friend's LP560-4 last night on a free way. His car is totally stock and we didi rolling runs from a variety of speed
2nd gear (my car holding around 3200 - 3500 rpm ) - 30mph to 130mph
3rd gear ( my car holding around 3200 - 3500rpm ) - 40mph to 130mph
We did a total of approximately 10 pulls, and everyrun the LP outran me and gradually walk away from me with about 2 to 3 car lengths until 130pmh I am running out of steam but it seems the LP still has room to continue to run. When I was driving I had no issue putting my car's power down to the road and I shifted every gears at around 6500 rpm but damn these LP are fast.
So, I thought I share my experience here just in case if you see a LP560-4, respect them.

560 is flywheel hp? Thats 450 AWHP? Compared to a 600whp 996? Don't get it? Did you push the pedal on the right?

Do you know what kcphuah's current mods are?
I cant comment without that info. I can say I have been surprised by published performance stats on the LP-560...

GT28's? Unless things are different now, this is his thread.

Ken is getting a UMW stage 2C kit installed. The kit is good for about 600 to the wheels, so I imagine that he did not have his final tune if he does have the kit installed. With the final tune he should crush the LP560. Should not even be close.
I do not remember what his previous kit was, but I do remember that it had damage of some kind.

I am actually running UMW stage 2C kit now and it is about 600 to the wheels. For argument sake, if the LP was chipped instead of stock, would it walk away from like that?

The way the race should go is, you go, he pulls half to a car until you boost, then you walk him and with every shift you loose a bit and make more up. In the end you should be way ahead. definitely does not make sense.

I dont know if you can chip a gallardo... when I had mine you could not.. I dont want to take anything away from the 996tt.. I have one.. but again the gallardo lp560 is a QUICK car... I dont think it will be all that easy to "crush" it

maybe true if it is stock or just chipped, but Kens kit is 600 to the wheels. Easily 100 more to the wheels than the gallardo. He should have easily walked the LP, not by a little but by a lot, 3 car lengths or so.
Ken, are you getting traction? clutch? somethings definitely up...

Prche951, I have no tractions issue, nor I was spinning tires and the clutch is holding up good. And I am running the tune file as it should be. Hmm, based on what you told me how I should walk away from the LP, was that your personal expeience?
