I would say that is nucking futs!!! Surely someone local to you can chime in on a good shop to go to in the area otherwise i'd say get a jack and set of jack stands and do it yourself. I've got it down to where I can do it in 15 minutes now.

I got my first oil change done right after getting the car a couple of months ago by a local indie that specializes in Porsches for $130.

You are putting in one quart? That might be a little low.

An indy specializing in Porsche charged me $225 for a minor maintenance, which included an oil change.

local dealer is charging $175.

I agree with others- just buy the stuff and do it yourself!

$175 seems a nice quote.

I have to check my receipt and find out the exact amount I paid for the parts including the oil. I know it's under $99 for the parts. DIY is the way to go, make sure you have a large whole in the plastic oil drain. (The oil will over flow if you have the standard container)

$170.00 at the dealer. will do it my self next time but will still buy the parts from the dealer. They have the best prices I could find on the oil and filter.

I paid 89.00 when Walter's Porsche was running an oil change special. Of course once you get there they try to talk you into all these different services. I said nope and left after they changed the oil.

i would have paid up to $150 for the change, I did it myself before but didn't have a large pan to drain and make a huge mess on my garage floor tiles.

This was huntington porsche on long island for reference.
