Currently checking that car out;

I've seen it but dont know any history on it. Car is OK ; not as nice as the description, but OK.
I plan on driving it not storing it.
Famous last words.

Buyer beware. As a recent GT2 buyer, I spent over 8 months looking at all the GT2's available in the US. I even traveled to Tampa last summer to personally look at a seal grey with 4K miles. Didn't buy it because it had too many mods and I wanted bone stock. I finally bought an 03 with 1800 miles. This particular car has been for sale on and off for a long time. It's been through the ringer.
There are some really nice GT2's available for around 85k all with under 10k miles. If you wait it out you could probably buy one with less than 5K miles in stock condition for around 80K, maybe even less if the economy continues South.
For example, I hounded my seller for 6 months before he agreed to my price. There are just not that many people out there buying $80-$90 thousand dollar 6 year old used cars. If you are a willing and capable buyer, you can almost name your price. I did. We know how special a GT2 is, but most people with that kind of money would just as well get a new car (M5, GTR, M6, Z06 etc.). I had to fight the urge to just buy one and get it into my garage ASAP. Take your time.

Modded GT2 with lots of miles, questionable history and changing hands so many times = that price. I'd pass if it were me, it'll never be worth much because of its history and an X50 optioned car with 20K in mods (which would equal about the same price) will be more fun, faster and a better driver. Good luck and as others have said... Get an independent PPI for sure if you move forward!

Guy on rennlist had a story about the car and its owner, he didn't disclose it though publicly but through PM's.. You know what they say, if it's too good to be true, it's too good to be true
