Suggestion 1 - KEEP the TURBO

If for some bizzare reason you just can't stomach that (?)

Suggestion 2 - GT40

Well, today was the day I was going to drive away in my 1700 mile Vanguish.

The salesmen tells me to take it for a spin around the block, so we proceed to test drive.......................I did not get a mile away and the transmission craps out. Craps out to the point that we had to be picked up and the car had to be towed back!!! Not only that but while I was at the dealer in complete awe.....Xico tells me that the AM suck and that he had a feeling that another would be in getting towed in. Well guess what, another AM Vanguish comes in with a blown Tranny. WTF!!!!!

This is no BS, Xico was my witness. So as I was talking to the Manager of AM and he was assuring me it was nothing. The service advisor (my personal friend) pulls up the history on the car. It had 10 service tickets on the tranny.

OK, so now what do I get???????? Mercedes CL 55 or BMW 635 any suggestions?????

Get a SL65. Awesome speed. R&T just tested it doing 1/4 mile 11.98 at 123. Info will be out in the next 1 or 2 issues. WAY faster than the Vanquish, or even Vanquish S, and is a convertible with all the toys (sat radio, voice-activated phone, MP3, DVD, etc) I love mine. Easily the fastest auto there is, and faster than my Stage II turbo cab.

I talked to a guy the other week who has a CL65 and his wife has an SL65. He said that they are just stupid fast for what they are. He said that they just pull on the freeway. Do a boost upgrade and play w/ some more power that thing would be the ultimate grand tourer.

I was amazed he liked them so much, but it was just as we were looking at his Big Block 67 mustang vintage racer. I knew he had to be serious

Keep the turbo.
Buy anything that strikes your fancy to compliment it, but keep the turbo.

Keep the Turbo and get a Dodge Viper truck. Nice truck to have and it hauls ***. The price is a little high for a truck but, it has the same fricken engine as the Viper.

How about a new Jeep Cherokee Limited, and keep the turbo.

..actually I think Porsche (ok, and VW) now make an SUV you might want to look at.

Cayenne Turbo or even an S and 996TT are a great combo...SL65???Nahh...all you get there is straight line performance (Boring!!!). There's more to life than a straight line. Sounds like AM suck big time in the reliability/bullet proof dept., imo.
