South Florida Porsche Get Together

OK guys.... The weather is absolutely perfect out today and I started to talk to a few of your 6Speed locals and thought - it's time for a get together.

Maybe a ride and dinner or something cool.

We all have the same passion and it's always fun to get to meet each other - and see others cars and have some fun.

Lets get a good group of cars together and have a good time.

We can plan it for the next week or two.

Who's in?

I mean lets get everyone we can together from Miami to North Palm Beach. Lets have a great get together and meet.

I know I have like 6 996tt owners that have already told me they would be down. I am going to check in on the 997tt guys as well.

Looking forward to it.

I'm in for sure. Lets do a drive and dinner on maybe a Saturday if we want people to not have to work and can eat dinner afterwards.

Maybe make a trip to ---Misner park in Delray, ft.lauderdale strip, downtown bradleys in west palm beach or some place in south beach if we get a lot of miami people.

OK - I have had a few pm's asking to push it back due to people working or being out of town.

Tom - you have a great idea. Properly planned that could be a great time. I would strongly suggest guys going out for a track day. Nothing better than that.

Looks like guys are asking for a Saturday May 16th event.

We may be able to do something at the Seminole Hard Rock and Casino in Hollywood. This could be good for both Mia folks and Palm Beach folks.

Gives us a chance to get on the highway and a good drive there no matter where you are coming from.

Plus - they have a large parking lot - so we can get away from the other cars and get to see everyones ride.

I would say around 6:30 - so we have good sunlight still to check out cars - and then there are a bunch of restaurants there we can choose to eat at.

OK - If this works - lets get the troops together and make it happen!

Thanks,

Tom, I'll be back for some 'schoolin' after my next mods; suspension and brakes (to get PCCBs out so I won't ruin them, wait a minute..maybe I should). I've been yearning for some track time; your car back on again?

Andy, I'm always up for a get together, bet I can get Steve in on this meet too (seal grey TT).

Good marketing plan - lure unsuspecting victims to challenge your "slightly modified" TT then show 'em they're the "Supercar Oldsmobile". I have 2 potentials - an F430 & an M5 ('08), the M5 is a prime target.
You're a bad influence young man ; you have a PM on the KWs & tires.

Dude; nothing old school about your performance numbers. This isn't a Ferrari gathering, I doubt if any of us are that snobbish!

Thanks,

I will be racing the turbo at Sebring that weekend. on sat a one hour enduro race and sunday two sprint races with PBOC.

not sure your plans but Sebring is very centrally located and there will be plenty of badass cars at sebring all weekend. if the drive can somehow include a sebring driveby that would work
you are all allowed in and can GO ANYWHERE at the track in the pits and see the cars and watch the races.

come to my pit and pick up the race radio and say hi to me if I am out there racing or stop by

not hard to find me

my cell number is 813-541-4931 call me or email me tkerrmd@aol.com if you guys or anyone interested is coming by.

this coming sunday will be shaking the race car down and instructing for Chinmotorsports.com also can come by then just to check the whole track thing out. plenty of cool stuff to see and if you have never been to sebring would be very cool (and shame on you!)

Old School Porsches Rock - yes they are welcome.

Tom - working out some details here - gonna update all here shortly.

Getting requests and see that this conflicts with racing - so working on a better date etc.
