I know we all drive differently, but I went 25 miles normal drive.. jumped on it a little and now my gauge is on the next line down from full.. does not seem right

According to my dash, I get 19-20 around town and have GOTTEN 24-25 on the highway cruising with very minimal playing. Basically you should get a little better MPG off boost and a little worse MPG boosting, depending on your tune.

I have seen on here other members that had or have FVD flash noticed they were using a lot of fuel also... exhaust tips always black...

Not sure on the first part. I thought Tony made an adjustment so the gauge is "accurate". I'll ask him.
As far as the second part. I've never really filled my tank. I usually only put in what I am going to burn. Don't need the extra weight. I do check every now and then as I do regularly go on 80-100 miles trips and It seems I do usually get around 20 or so on the highway doing a lot of playing.
I've left my house, resetting my gauge to zero, and drive 15 minutes of back roads to the highway and then 75-80 miles on the highway and when I get to my destination I "avg" 24-26mpg...IF my gauge is right, and it seems to be.

Larry,
You can not rely on the on board computer for mileage. My experience has been Approx. 15.7 for city driving at every level that I have been at...Stage 2, Stage4 and 24/18G with fuel pumps and injectors. My mileage has remained the same as stock with all tunes that I have had.
I have always measured actual fuel comsumption vs. miles travelled on a full tank of consumption and have not used the onboard computer when testing to determine gas mileage. The computer can be off after a flash, definitely off after injectors...

I just checked my mileage on the trip down to my indie for the new clutch. At 65, i was getting an indicated 21.5mpg. It seems like my mileage has gone down slightly with the flash.
It sure is'nt as good as my ZO6 use to get. I would average 28-30mpg in highway driving. Oh well

Flash should not change mileage by itself and you should get better mileage with an exhaust. If you are like me however, the car feels so much better after the flash I found myself squeezing the accelerator more...
