From what I have seen, I know of 4 "stock" seating options. I was hoping that someone could help me identify the seats.

1. Sport Seats?

1- 996 sport seats
2- stock seats
3- supple leather seats
4- GT3 bucket seats- no back adjustments

Number 2 and 3 seats offer little support for spirited driving. Best option, IMO, is the 997 sport seats. Best support, besides GT3 buckets. They fit 996TTs.

I have #2 in my car and always thought they were "sport" seats, and #1 was adapative sport seats/gt2 stock seats. I find that mine are very supportive for a stock seat, but lookign for something a bit more aggressive. I have a set of recaro pole positions sitting here, but I dont want to give up my seat heater!!! grrrrr....

I have the 997 sport seats that came out of a 997 GT3. Much deeper bolsters for great support and they are regularly for sale on here and Rennlist. Many GT3 guys take them out and buy the buckets for the track.
