How long does rollbar/GT3 seat/harness install take?

Have an autocross Sunday, have a good amount of time tomorrow and friday to devote to mods. Can I get the rollbar, GT3 seats, and harnesses in? I don't want to get stuck halfway and miss the autocross...

TiA!

I'ts doable but look for all the tips from Ken and others. Seats are easy, bar a little difficult. I would allow the whole day for the job.

Talk to Rockitman, its a very difficult DIY job to install the rollbar, seats and harnesses are simple.

Yup...by yourself, look for the roll bar to take at least 4 hours. The key for me looking back on it... Do the front legs first. Bolt the passenger leg in first then the driver side. When you roll the rear legs in place, they won't line up exactly with the holes. This is where the struggle is. The trick is to use a 12" piece of 2x4 and use it as a wedge to get the rear leg to expand out so the holes line up for the bolt (I did not figure that out till after the fact. That may have saved me 3 hours in struggle alone). Check out my DIY in my sig. I cover both the seat install and roll bar. It's ideal to do the seats at the same time since there can be no seats in place during the roll bar install. Good luck. Set aside at least 8 hours for the entire job.

Thanks guys, and Rockit -- I already had your instrux saved offline -- laptop will be next to me! I'm hoping to get about 4 hrs of time per day the next 3 days. Should do it. Then autocross on Sunday will be that much more fun! ;-)
