Yea i will email you in the morning i have them on my Work pc. He set up the 2 set actually 3 step and i told him to clean up the fuel parameters in the cold idle after the cold start cause it was a bit rich till it got into the higher temp range on the program. I am running the same plugs you put in. They are a good choice. I went and did the same coil packs you did as well.
Tim your car is going to absolutely friken fly!!! I did the Carbonetics Clutch and it holds like a glue!! i cant wait till i get back from my trip to Vegas to go to the track with fuel in it and let it go!!

I envy you now!!! friggggg i have to go for a boot in the car now just to put a smile back on my face!!! Darn you TIM!!

they are a bit heavier 30lbs for the pair.. your absolutely right ic's are big heat sinks and there is a lot of metal there what are you running in your beast?

thanks man.. its ben a ton of fun saving and the doing the work! real rewarding!! how do you like the clutch?? how the feel? which carbonetics one did u get? so r the ic's next on your list? im just about to leave on a cruise myself.. enjoy

Tim I did the Triple Carbon set up, Feels good after Todd told me how t break it in, Cause i hated it the first few days!! Yea i am going to do the IC's soon, i have the Blown 6 in the car now so they are not to bad.

Not got it YET but stock is what's in it right now. I tend to look for inefficiencies and try to fix them wherever I can. This car has turbos and fuel, may try to streamline the intake and intercoolers. We'll see, swapping these intercoolers in doesn't look like a 10min job and I won't be looking to dump the stock MAF anytime soon unless the stock one fries. Your pictures do give a very good idea as to what's involved though, appreciate you having documented the process as much as you did!

Cost of cores? Degree of difficulty fabbing? I know 2 different guys capable of doing the work but do not know what cores are going for or that I will even "need" better coolers for my desired performance level. I've considered speaking to them about this once the car is in my hands and would be interested as to what hurdles you ran into. It's a shame so many OEM coolers seem to have crappy plastic end tanks!

P.S. Have you considered the emittive coatings mentioned earlier that Swain produces? Seems like a possible way to enhance performance while preventing corrosion. I have often wondered how much the light corrosion most ICs have effects performance. In the A/C world they sell chemicals to remove this and it apparently helps for a time, might the same also work to some degree on car heat exchangers? I truly don't know if the effects of cleaning would be noticed but the emittive coating might show measurable improvements real-world...

How does the proto intake setup work? Any drivability issues? Increased turbo sound? Also, what is the approximate cost (not including intercoolers). Thanks!

You need at least a k24/20 or a GT30 turbo the small turbos work great with the stock intakes but i don't think they have the efficiency to fill the Proto intake. you really need to move some air for that intake to take advantage of it.
Anyone else think so?

.. the system is amazing!! the sound is surreal... anyways the big benefit is the airflow(2.5 inch dia pipe) and the big pressurized maf sensor its good for 1000hp

Wow thanks for the info on the intake. I have k24/18's but I'm looking to make the system as efficient as possible. Plus I've heard the sound is awesome . Going to contact proto soon!
