It is a racing car, not a road car. You can build up a similar one, for parts: body: DP-Motorsport, engine: RS-Tuning Secan, suspension: H&R Race...Go for http://www.juergen-alzen-motorsport.de/ and you get the contact information of the team. There is video proof of 6.40 min Nordschleife lap which is faster than RSR's.

Due to regulations this ultimate 996 Turbo beast is gone and he is now driving slower naturally aspirated Porsches. Yet he still has a similar Turbo they finished in 2009, build from a 997TT that he uses to dominate some smaller series like RCN where he can still drive with it

Motor...don't know the details, a state of art racing engine from RS-Tuning with Secan intercooling.

Boost was limited due to VLN regulations and which also put the minimum weight to 1350kg. Even with these series regulations it was very fun to see this thing kick ***. For spectators, the car felt like the crazy 935 of the past...

Btw. other kinds of serious racing 996 cars with turbos have been also done, PSI-Motorsport from Belgium alone produced 11 different 996 GT2R's which are quite similar to this car...

Dodo is infamous around these parts
It was quite a beast but it did not finish races more often than it did. In 2007, they replaced it with a Cayman for more reliability. This year Uwe Alzen has been signed as a factory BMW driver to drive the M3 GT2 in VLN and 24h and the brother will run a GT3 Cup car I think.

Man, do we have to tell you everything?

All they did was install a set of SECAN IC's and it dropped the ring time by 2 minutes. Amazing.
