Heel Pad?

I am on my second pair of OEM carpets that I keep wearing out, and am about to move on to my third set. I ran across these aluminum heel pads that are custom fabricated by AI Design. They are made to fit the OEM mat set, and are currently in production to be released in 2 weeks. Anyone interested in setting up a group buy?

Let me know!

Great for a pickup truck, not a Porsche. Why not just buy a set of Techart mats with the plastic heel protector?

Actually... It kind of reminds me of the heel rest on my 1955 Cessna 170b tail-dragger.... great for dancing on the rudders during a wheel landing; not sure I'd like it in my Porsche.

Or buy a set of Lloyds mats, and you won't need a heel protector. The Lloyds wear like iron, unlike the OEM mats which are crap.
