Shank, found this one on Ebay tuned to 1200 bhp by Hennessey. Those claimed 0-60 and 1/4 mile times are mind blowing.http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...527957367&rd=1

Viper is in the midst of tuning. They're tuning it with 3 maps - 116 Octane, 100 Octane, and 93 Octane. The first test run dyno'd 915RWHP on 100 octane, but the torque of 900RWTQ came on way too early at 2800 RPM. They said they have to shave the springs on the waste gate to slow down the boost. That was running at 12psi.

The goal is to generate 800RWHP on 93, 900RWHP on 100, and 1200RWHP on 116. Dyno charts will be posted as soon as I get em.

Thats sick.. Hmm having a 1200rwhp Viper tearing up the streets of Chicago is a scary though.

Ryan,

Judging from the power and the octane, my guess is they are not coating the internals. Might try coating the piston tops, skirts and bottom of piston, valve tops and stems, combustion chamber and exhaust ports. The motor run run cooler and inturn more power with less octane.

I think its kinda silly cause even if you sell the car and say go back into a 700hp tt its going to feel like a neon on 3 cyl. You are screwing up your sense for speed dude.

Well today went smooth with 100 Octane tuning.

At 3,000 RPM the car pulled 800 RWTQ. Max TQ and HP was at 5,000 RPM. The following dyno was at 9pounds of boost only on 100 octane race gas..... The tune was running a bit rich at 10AFR, and can squeeze yet another 60 to 70 HP by leaning out a tad.

Tomorrow, I'll post pics of the 93 octane run.
