Give Dave a call about it I'm sure he will be happy to discuss it. Its some serious stuff because dawn won't even take it off. =)

Hahaha they used to =)

I have so much protection on that now I don't look twice. It beads and I just rinse with water, spray with quick detailer and wipe off and if its anything serious I have Dave locally to care for the serious stuff.

I have no idea to be 100% honest. The past owner ordered the car with these wheels from germany in 03 and they have some metallic flake in the paint. They look almost altas grey but more metallic flake or at least it seams that way.

Check out Aquapel glass treatments. We carry them here. The principle is the same as RainEx, but it lasts about 6 months a treatment and easier to apply without streaking.

I have used Aquapel, Rain X and Rejex on windows and nothing compares to how fast the HWP (hyrdophobic window polymer) sheets and beads water. Bird droppings and etching are no longer an issue.

The best part is that even strong soaps meant to strip wax off car paint have no effect on the window polymer

So is HWP a specific BRAND? If so I cannot find it via Google. I'd very much like something longer lasting than Rain-X which I've used often in the past. My DD and that of my girlfriend could sure use something good.

P.S. Jersey could you please snip that quote - it's HUGE!

Question on your wheels

Hey everyone sorry for the quote from hell. This should be better.

Already spoke to David and I will see him in a few weeks. My car is also silver. Wanted to ask if you painted your wheels. Looks like you did possibly gunmetal . If so what color and who did them. Looks great on a stock wheel. Hope to have my detail done soon. Thanks for posting.
