Just curious, but have you driven a Ford GT for any length of time? I love the look of the FGT, in my opinion one of the best looking HP cars in the world. However, after a couple of hours behind the wheel, my FGT fetish was cured. IT IS NOWHERE NEAR THE QUALTY OF A PORSCHE, in any department. But hey, just my opinion.

ok guys well... after driving the car to the cottage this eve .. there is no way i can sell this thing!! not a chance!! lets say i sell it for 70k then take a loan for 70k for a gt.. it will be slower, less comfortable and the biggest bummer of them all i can bring my 6 and 10 year old boys with me
so i guess i will have to save a little more or go for a gallardo

Tim, I knew you'd come to your senses. I think the only thing I'd do now is take it to Todd and have him work his majic on it. I know it's not cheap but I bet he can find a lot more power for you.

There was a local guy that went from a modded 996TT to a Ford GT and guess what? He actually went back to the dealer after a week and traded back!! Guess the quality of the GT isnt the best. If your going to upgrade my suggestion would be a Gallardo! Then when your bored you can do the TT upgrade

some things look good on paper but it all boils down to the experience its hard to beat a tt

I love the looks of the FGT, but I have to agree with everyone here. quality isn't the best. When I saw the series of Top Gear episodes involving Jeremy's FGT, leading up to getting it and after getting it. Well, let's just say, that I don't think he's ever had a bigger let down.

Glad to hear your keeping the beast! Something tells me you would have regretted it in the long run. I was talking to TonyNJ last night and he was saying for how fast and awesome his TTZ06 was, he is glad to be back in a P-car. Just nothing quite like a German built car.....
