TechArt Noselift Kit Demo
#16
Given the ridiculous lack of clearance of the Techart GT Street kit for the 996, I am wondering why on earth Techart does not already have this kit for the 996- I have destroyed so many of the extended front lips but would love to get it back on if only I could clear the front! This would be a dream come true!

My s600 is slammed, and it sure is nice to have the "raise car" button when I am coming up on a nasty dip. I'm sporting the stock front end on the 996 for now, but plan on doing the GT2 or Techart in the not too distant future. I'm sure this would come in handy.

geeeeee, First we make our cars faster because they are not fast enough, then we need to learn how to drive them around town so we dont look like ***** driving around scraping and stuff, so i get crazy power added to my car, put Yellow pads on so they hear me screech to a stop and then you want me to toss out all the "Learn how to go up driveways with out scraping" out the Window?? Hmmmmm Yea i need one of these!!

You may actually pull this one off...

very simple:
Stroke patient has trouble remembering to lower his head while getting in vehicle and has hit his head several times causing seizures. I recommend a hydraulic lifting device be added to patients vehicle so that he may more safely enter said vehicle.

At least this TechArt one is much quicker to raise the nose than the Cargraphic one (quoted at 10-15 sec). I hope the price will be less than directly inversely proportional to the time (2.5 times).
I am looking at getting a 996TT and would need it for speed bumps and steeper driveways, but 10-15 seconds is quite a long time if I have cars behind and I'm coming up to a speed bump I previously didn't know of.

The techart kit is around twice the price. I went with the cargraphic kit. From my experience (which has been about a week) you're right, for the most part, the 10-15 second wait is only good for previously known driveways or speedbumps. Otherwise in most cases, it's going to take too long. That said, it is very useful. I needed it, and it does the job.
