EVOMS GT660 with Brembo Big Brake Kit & Other Goodies @ SharkWerks
This 2002 black 996TT GT660 project was built and shipped out to a customer in Wisconsin, with Bilstein coil overs, 19" P43 HRE Monoblok's, a stage II clutch kit and the TechArt Type 1 kit.
For the brakes in front a 6 piston (in black which turned out neat) monoblock caliper with 380x32 2-piece slotted rotors with.
In the rear a four piston caliper and 380x28 2 piece rotor combo.
Here's the build...
First thing's first, off with the transmission, stock clutch assembly and in with the beefier stage II. That's about the limit for the Sachs 999. After that you have to go to a level 3 style clutch, which isn't quite as "stock" in terms of engagement/feel.
With the DV's, fuel kit (fuel rails and injectors) already inplace on go the GT28 turbos, EVO headers etc...
Pretty nifty exhaust-side and obviously the Bilstein coil overs are already on...
On go the EVO boost hoses (black to stay stock-looking), the MillTek Exhaust, V-Flow intake and Hitachi conversion.
The TechArt side skirts fit/install a lot easier on the 996TT's than they do on the 997TT's and here's a nice side-profile (I'd always go authentic on these folks) along with some 19 inch HRE P43 Monoblok's.
on goes the TechArt Type 1 front lip, which is actually not something we've done very often (usually the GT Street or GT2 bumper) but it's really grown on me...
A few final touches with a 5hp plate holder and the pedal kit...
And away she goes on the transport back to Wisconsin.
The cool thing was that the very same transport was delivering this to us too:
At home...
