Slave & Accumulator Changed = pedal stiffen

Slave & Accumulator Changed = pedal stiffen
Changed the clutch slave master cylinder and pressure accumulator then bled the system (done by reputable indy). Now the clutch pedal has stiffen on start up, goes back to normal after start up. While driving the pedal is inconsistent, some times soft or other times as the pedal is being depressed it seems to stiffen up a bit, not as stiff as on start up. Any ideas what it could be?
Did a search here and renntech but no answers.
Is it possible that the new parts are defective?

You need a pressure bleeder, like a MOTIV to do it properly in my opinion... And yea, it's still got air in the system. Also, don't forget to check fluid levels in both the engine compartment and under the bonnet up front.

Yes, make sure you fill the pump in the engine compartment. It'll take almost 3/4 can of pentosin. There are procedures for how to check the level in the manual. It has something todo with letting the car run for a short period and then checking it.

The power steering pump?, and I believe it's let the car run for 30 secs.

I replaced my accumulator but not the slave. I didn't have to add any pentosin.
Was I supposed to bleed the system at all??

You should have had to replace the fluid in the old accumulator, and you absolutely should bleed it...

Can I verify this with the slave on the car? Would there be some way I can tell by looking at the box...part number?

My indy shop did the work, so i'm not exactly sure how they figured out when the slave was manufactured. It should either say on the box or you can call porsche with the part # and they can tell you.
