Pictures! GT2 front, CF Splitter, freshly painted Kinesis F110's

Since I'm lame and never post up too many pics and have learned so much from the members on this site, I thought I'd try and contribute a bit:

http://www.dropshots.com/kato4444#da...10-18/05:23:05

I recently added a MaShaw GT2 front bumper to my 996TT. I have the CF front lower lip spoiler and black powdercoated, mesh inserts in the bumper.

Also pictured are my freshly painted Kinesis F110's which were done in a dark charcoal/gunmetal finish by Fast Forward Wheels (speak to Eli). They used to be black and clearcoated lips so I decided to get them cleaned up, re-shot and change the color up for something new...

You can scroll up and down through the pics to also see rear spoiler on with extenders, then off (I rode around for a few days like that for fun).

Enjoy!

Thumbs up

Kalon,
Looks seriously sick in the good way. The GT2 nose looks much more aggressive to my eye & it's a look I really like. Mashaw has that CF lip spoiler option & that adds interest too. The wheels came out stunning--very, very nice. Jeff

Jeff, Thanks! I love this car and plan on keeping it for a long, long, time. It's the only car that I've ever owned that I was "satisfied with"... Two years and counting and I still smile when I see and (and grin ear to ear when I drive it)...

Was your car the one that Vivid documented for the GT2 front? Precision I believe? If so, that is one of the reasons I decided to move forward-was beautiful!

Rear tails were sprayed by a local body shop (3C). Same guys who did the iForged 996-997 GT Street conversion (green one). They came out a little bit darker than I wanted but I've grown to appreciate them.

I've thought about swapping them back to stock at some point but keep going back and forth...

Yes, you are totally right--my car was used to document the GT2 bumper installation by Vivid. Glad it inspired you to go ahead.

Thanks, Alex. I'm sure you'll see it in person someday soon. I'll bring it out to VCR when I have time on Sunday AM.

Jeff-thought your car looked familiar (and the Phoenix location helped, LOL)... Beautiful! Enjoy it.

I love the car!

Have you ever considered getting a clear wrap to protect it from every day wear and tear? Just a thought.

Keep it going.

Thanks, Doug. Thinking about it. I have been talked out of it by 2 body shops (go figure). I had one on my old bumper and it began to look like crap eventually. I'm thinking about it with this new setup but was told I should let the paint "cure" a bit before applying? What are your thoughts? I've heard they get beat up regardless, especially with track use. This car is well taken care of but is not a garage queen!
