As long as you do the oil changes and dont floor it while the engine is cold they should be fine.

mine lasted about 4K...not because they failed...LOL.

my coworkers brotherin law has a 996 gt2 in russia with 240,000 KM (about 150k miles) stock everything but the diverter valves and spark plugs. (oil, brake pads ... etc...changed along with clutch)
