Are they following the smell of the exhaust or perhaps the unwashed jackets? I mean hot chrome and leather....OOOOoooo.....

Kevin....You HAVE to put up some pics of the engine and the car...or is that going to be classified material? EVOMS must have taken some pics as the engine was out and they were finishing up....can you share???

You're right about there's always a faster gun....but I'm not sure that you're going to run up against them anytime soon....that puts you in the top 1%....hell, even a flashed TT with a Stage III or IV kit would wax most of everything that's out there except for the occasional sleeper Subaru or other similar covert application.

Nope...I'd think there's going to be some notches on the butt of that six-gun.

Yeah, they have a device...the same meter they use for making a preliminary determination that you've been drinking or smoking weed.....it's called a nose. I wonder how they'd handle a sniff test for "illegal race gas". They'd have to take an evidentiary sample of the gas...Naaa....doesn't seem logical. I've never heard of anyone getting stopped or cited for race gas. I have heard and read of folks getting busted for using the agricultural fuel on the public roadways....big fine...big trouble.

You can smell the difference even at the pump. Race gas smells different. Heck, my 12 year old daughter can tell the difference in the smell...she "reminds" me every time I have race gas in.

It is legal to use race gas on the street. It is NOT legal to run leaded gasoline on the street.

and if you are running leaded, the cops can pretty much figure you don't have catalytic converters

Yep. Run MS 109 all day. But get caught even pumping leaded into your street car and get ready to hit the hip.
