Steve G's garage in Malibu!

Bill, I've only met Steve a few times, but he is a car lover like the rest of us. He is pretty low key in that he doesn't chase publicity or anything like that, he just enjoys cars and loves to drive them.
You have to admit, if you or I took a company public, we would easily be tempted to build a multi-million dollar garage like that. The land value alone on that garage is worth $$$$.

I would guess that garage could be built for under $1M, not counting the cars and assuming you own the land?
Even if the person's low key, it's hard to hide a garage like that, especially when you have a lot of friends who publish on the Web. I wonder if Steve likes that?

I agree. Construction cost would be in the millions especially in that area. I have to expect the structure to be concrete with reinforced steel and lots of I-beams. The subfloor could problem withstand quite a big jolt without structural damage. The garage doors alone would be heavy industrial grade so a hummer can't ram into it.
It is after all, a museum to protect.
From what I can see (over the fence ), the structure is very low key and stealth.
If you love your cars/animals/children, you'll want to see them and talk to them everyday when you're home. You don't want to send them to some boarding school far away.

For you security freaks ... the garage is on a different property than the house. At least that's what was said on FChat.
And as far as costs go, this garage has according to several very knowledgeable people the best working area and tools in the world. So it must have cost a pretty penny.
Still, there is no reason not to build such collection and garage. If you love cars and are successful enough ... why not? Oh yeah, perhaps making us normal guys drool and realize our life is miserable! LMAO!
