I remember the thread very well. Some with 24/18G people just couldn't bear the fact that there was faster spooling alternative with similar top end.
I'd love to see a comparison of the following turbos if you can
K16
K24
2860 (these were the original 700 HP turbo, lots around, plus I have a vested interest
24/18g
A28

Not sure how exhaustive that would be. But it will be great to see same tuner, same dyno comparisons of the different turbos on pump gas.
I may be completely mistaken, but it seems the larger turbos on that list will test the limits of pump gas

We've tried to post fair compares from time to time... its just very hard because ever car is very different, conditions can be different, etc.
The only car we've had multiple set of turbos on, we went from 18g to a28's... The car picked up nearly 1500 rpm spool and I got flamed when I posted results
