Tip haters. After owning one now for a while, I can only assume that most negative comments are simply rooted in ignorance. In a straight line race, ie 60/130 or 1/4, an average driving 6 speeder with similar mods can't compete. Like I've said before, for a road course, I would prefer a 6 speed. But I rarely ever have a chance to run a road course.
1: Tips can be fast
2: Tips WILL break
3: W/ lots of heartache, time, and money a Tip can be rebuilt and made fast again (see truism 1)
4: After going through this process you will love your Tip even more. This phenomenon is called Cognitive Dissonance Theory (I am smart, therefore what I do is smart and hence logically justified in my mind) and is related to Initiation Right Theory (why gang members are "jumped in" to the gang and thus become very loyal)
I heretefore Crown you "Tippy Todd...the Nallinator"!

Sean, I don't really see the difference in what was done to my tranny than replacing a roasted clutch in a 6 speed. My gears weren't broken, my clutch packs were replaced. And at a cost not much different than a new clutch like many of our friend need ie: Paulie, Ben , Brad, etc.

Sean, of course we do have a 60-130 event on 7/18, maybe Paulie will run then?
