I meant the guy from Fikse said 315/25 and 225/35! That was on the site too awhile ago. It's wrong. The only ones are size 315/25 and 225/35.

It's sometimes ridiculous when I figured exactly how long it would take to find the right answer to which tire size too! The guy from Fikse said 315/25 and 225/35 and then another guy from wheel said a different one and finally through two more sources i got the 315/25 and 225/35! That's for the Fikse profil 10 at 11.5 and 8.5 for the 996 Turbo for 19". I had to finally get the original Porsche size of 225/40 and 295/30 for the 18" and finally I got the right numbers. I just didn't want to f up my differential in the front.
I was referencing 18" sizes which is what I thought the discussion was based upon. GT2 wheels for the 996 are 18", not 19". If you go to TireRack, they list all the specs of each tire so you can see the sizes. There are many options. For 18" you want 235/40/18 front and 315/30/18 rear. For 19/s the ratio changes to 35/f and 25/r. Just choose tires on their website and click on the specs. It gives you every bit of info you need.

On a different note, I've got some nice Fikse 18" wheels that I'd love to get just cleaned up and probably repolished since they seem to have oxidation where when you clean them they turn a white dust. Since I'm taking the 18" off I may as well send them somewhere to get them redone since they're nice wheels. Any suggestions?

Cool. Thanks, where can I get my older Fikse 18" wheels kinda redone? They seem to have white dust that appears after simply wiping them and I may as well keep them since they're nice! I figured they're 18" so i may as well have them repolished and finished. They're aluminum looking from the 03 996.
