thanks for the comprehensive list. yes i too am somewhat skeptical about estimates, and i hope that they aren't making any assumptions / adjustments on times based on weather conditions...

btw, that Manthey GT3 is ****ing fast!!!! 1 second behind the SLR!

This is the first time I've heard of the Blitz Supra running a 7:21. 4 seconds faster than the Jurgen Alzen Motorsport 996TT in race trim and 700hp? I don't think so.

I wonder how a GT2 on R-compounds would do... Once again GT3-RS is one incredible car. Definitely a car I would have bought if it was available in the States.

Blitz Supra never did a 7:21, it did a 7:49 at best I think.

I have driven the actual Blitz car as it was owned by a good friend of mine and it was a piece of junk as a road car, completely undrivable on the road due to race suspension and gutted inside like a racecar.

I'd expect the McLaren to do better than the estimated time, considering it's power-to-weight ratio and overall known performance.

I think the 7:56 Corvette time was for the 2005 C6 and not the Z06 as tested by Dave Hill. I may be mistaken though.

Great list, thanks!

Not bad for a Supra. Though if a 996 had 650hp and a gutted interior, it would be significantly faster... like the Alzen 996TT.
