well I have narrowed it down to two cars. 02tt blk 15k miles or a 04tt silver 19k miles. The o4 is about $10k more but it has exhaust and springs. What does the average exhaust cost ? Are they easy to put in on your own ? I do have a lift to use. Car will be street driven 99% of the time. Better sound is more important than hp to me. Both cars have wings and wheels on them. The silver car has already had the 15-20k maintanece done already. Thanks again for all your help.....

I just installed the RPi exhaust and the monetary cost was $1995 delivered and a Friday evening in time to install and I am not a mechanic. Oh, I had to buy a metric ratcheting wrench set from Pep boys for $29 and jack stands for $35 +tax.

a new exhaust runs anywhere from $2k- $5K. Most people do not recommend using springs only, instead using a full coilover system such as pss9. springs only are not expensive. The 15K service is not expensive- it's essentially an oil change with a fewer other checks ($200-$600). 30k is the big service including plugs ($1k-$2k). If all things were equal the 2004 turbo should cost about $10k more than the 02, because it's 2 yrs newer. good luck with your search.
