Hello Guys,

lately, when my car has been sitting for about 8-10 hours and I start up the car the RPMs bounce up and down for a few seconds and then its fine. Anyone know the cause of this?

What should I replace or get looked at? Or is this normal?

Vince

A boost hose is probably loose. Check for a leak. Probably a loose clamp.

I did that already, I took it to a shop, I changed out the boost frequency valve and upgraded to samco hoses. I a getting a pre-cat o2 sensor code, Im going to change that tomorrow. I had them do a pressure test and everything looked fine. what else could it be.

Vince, this is related to your secondary air issues.

Your secondary air pump only running for a few seconds on stone cold engine.....the exact time your car is having a bouncing idle. Coincidence? I think not =).

Get your car healthy!
