Where did this post come from? Roll on 575 will beat a stock 996TT all day. Im not saying that to start ****, because i hate the 575, ill take the 996TT anyday.
ferrarislave, once you made the comment on the Gallardo and Murci that a race with the Gallardo will be close but the murci will lose, you really lost any sort of credibility.

Ha-ha, ok sorry. Allan I noticed that and tried to edit my post but I got a 404 error then I deleted the topic and tried to repost but got lag. Might have been my connection..... Anyway
I think that the Murcielago/Gallardo would no doubt beat the 996TT (Stock in a drag race)... The 575M vs. 996TT would be pretty close, with the 575 having a slight edge. I don't really believe magazines much now days. Look at Road&Track (I think) test on the F430 they got a 0-60 of 3.5, makes you wonder how they got 3.8 on the 996TT. As for the GT2 I think it would be pretty even with the Murcielago, but the Gallardo might have trouble keeping up.
Shank has a Gallardo , and a 996 GT2, his opinion should be pretty unbiased and truthful since he owns both.
It would be nice to see the 575, Murcielago, GT2, 996TT, and Gallardo, do a couple runs from a stop and roll.
Look how the Gallardo walks away from the 996TT, in the best motoring video with the NSX-R, 996TT, CSL, 360, and Gallardo.... Unfortunately, they don’t show the Murcielago and 996tt side by side, like they do the Gallardo and 996TT in the video. All you see is the 996TT and Murcielago even then the Murcielago in leading after the turn.
