Durametric'd My GIAC Flash Running Rich?
I don't propose to be a logging expert, in fact this was my first attempt with the durametric.
This is a 1-3rd gear run
A bit worried about the high 10s in terms of A/F (10.7s sometime show up) at full throttle. I have the mods outlined below in my Sig, mainly Tial 2860RS and 60lb injectors. This is on 91 octane, with a 91 octane file.
Interestingly, even though the gauge shows 1.4 BAR sometimes it seems the computer says 1.2high or 1.3low pretty steady.
Feedback please?

No issues with FUEL That's for sure. I do think it's a bit rich.
Can't help but wonder how much more power I can expect if it's a bit leaner.

You can run it mid 11 AFRs but I dont know if it would give much additional power. What power is it making now? Do you have a dyno or 60-130s?

Anything in the 10's is too rich. Safe, sure, but too rich. Should be mid to high 11's for maximum performance and still be safe....Too rich can pollute your O2's and probably other stuff. Never really wanna see anything over 12.0-12.2 max under boost for any extended period.

No Dyno yet. Only put 500 miles in 9 weeks since the Turbo upgrade, and Hitachi MAF. Been breaking in the clutch
Looking at the graphs, it certainly looks closer to mid 11s in the midrange and gets richer as it goes to redline. It also looks a tad leaner in 2nd than it does in 3rd... But I agree it's too rich.
I'll do a few more pulls tomorrow and go from 1500 to redline in 3rd. Shifting gears doesn't really show a full progression.
It was about 95 degrees when doing those logs.
I will say I am very happy with the GIAC programming. The handheld switcher lets me choose between 5 files:

I think any concerns about total fuel supply and the turbos being able to maintain boost all the way to redline have been put to rest.
I'd like to do some more graphs in much colder weather to see if the fuel supply can keep up.

Tony or Kevin would know, but I wonder if at 95 ambient you are seeing the DME add fuel to keep things cool...
Try it just before sunrise, coolest part of the day. (Not sure where you are, but when it gets hot here it is over 80 through the night!)

What do you mean too far? Do you think we should stay in the 10's? I believe 10's is too rich for any gasoline engine, turbo or otherwise. These cars are much more efficient at that 'higher" AFR. I am running 93-94oct pump spraying 100% meth. Here are my logs from my 1.4bar pump/meth tune from the dyno. The single cylinder timing retard would likely not be there if this was a road datalog. I am about 12.0 across the board.

I also thought (in my limited tuning experience) that that high of an AFR is too high for a boosted engine, but these engines like what they like and I trust my tuner

If you are refering to me, I believe it's back in the high 80's low 90's. I believe it was mid-high 90's before Meth.

Sorry dude, I didn't know we were talking about your setup. I thought I was responding to the initiator of this thread - Ari (91 octane @ 1.4 bar). Sorry for bringing the thread back to topic! I run 18' advance with AFR's in the 12's @ 12 psi boost in my 454 suburban (non-intercooled). I understand the virtues of water/meth injection.
