New owner of 911 x50
I just bought this 2002 911TT X50. 42,000 miles Polar Silver, Blue interior, New tires, all service records and stamps, 1 owner, clean car fax no paint work. Went through auction and was not listed as an X50 picked it up for $39,950 after fees paid $41,000. I took it to the dealership they said the car was prestine not even as scratch on the belly pan. I ran it at the track my best time was a 12.29 at 127.8

Wrong place to ask that question! Hang on to your wallet!!!!
A computer tune (flash) would probably be the first step!

Call Kevin at UMW or any of the other great companies out there and get a flash done. You will be amazed at the difference. Also an upgraded exhaust will help with air flow and increase your HP.

The computer many also reduce the boost because that is a factor in the pre-detonation problem with lower octane fuel.
Running higher octane will increase performance since the car will run full timing and full boost.
I am not familiar with that shop, where is he located?

$41k... Nice!! Though personally I would prefer one with less miles but then the cost be higher and thus I could not afford said vehicle. Eureka, that is why I am not in a Porsche. sigh....
