KWV3+HLS kit pic
i just got them installed last week...it has been great so far, and i will write some more review once i get more change to drive it. So far, I gotta say I am quite impressed with the quality of the kit
Unpacking the kit was quite an experience:
The pump and battery tray (you gotta change your battery to a smaller one for this kit):
KW front droplink:
Front CO with the HLS and a nice view of the subtank:
Nice clean PCCB (oh can anyone tell me if this is gen1 or gen2?)
You can see how oem droplink doesnt fit:
Under the hood during installing:
Rear CO and droplink pics:
Sry for the dark picture, but i think its a cool picture:
Stock suspensions:

no comparison
I have had both bilsteins and kw v3. no comparison. Kw rocks. Maybe not as good as Motons, etc. but... 1/2 the price, they don't need recharged, have a lifetime warranty, and are stainless. They are not adjustable from the car but are easily adjustable for track and street--it takes about 5 minutes per wheel for the rebound and compression adjustments--you don't even need a jack to make adjustments. They handle great and are a huge upgrade over bilstein and of course, stock.

nice, thanks for sharing, did you do the install yourself also? Did you need an axle nut remover and ball joint puller for the fronts?

iam in thailand right now, so the local authorized distributor seem like the best choice for me....but i also got quoted from several of the sponsors here and the price was quite good....oh and i also got an email from KW saying you can purchase directly from them

settings
I have my kw v3 set at three from the hardest settings on the rear compression, and five from the hardest on the fronts. I like a stiff ride.. the rebounds are set at three settings from full hard. I loosen the settings up one to two notches for the street. It is very subjective as to what feels good. somdays I adjust the settings because I think it is bouncing too much, or the ride is too firm, etc. It took me almost 6 months to get the settings where I want them. It depends on tires, preasure, butt feel, etc. It is an ongoing process. i find that if I take notes and keep track of my settings, it helps me narrow it down to where I want to be. Everyone will have different settings depending on what feels good to them.

thx micheal
mine is about at the middle for both bump and rebound and f&r....the stiffness of the ride is ok, but it get a little too bouncy over bumpy highway at above 130mph....on the smooth section of the road was extremely stable, so iam thinking about softening it a little bit for high speed stability.
