I'm spending $12.7k to rebuild mine with CMS...but that's with all authentic porsche parts, steel synchro's, GT2 spec, wavetrac locking differential, nice billet CMS parts (side cover, shift fork/arrestor, bearing retaining plate, etc), cooler ports, etc. That's not including all of the other stuff "while you're in there"...like pinning/welding coolant lines, etc. It adds up real quick.

The 7GT2 1-3 is a great mod. Combine it with a taller rear tire and a higher redline and you're getting somewhere! 3rd is a good bit stronger too. Talking about gearbox stuff, I will have a freshly rebuilt billet Guard Club LSD up for sale in about a month. New side cover, new clutches, 40/60 ramps, and freshly shimmed to an 80lb preload. Superb LSD for dropping lap times! The real deal here. No girlie stuff. Ramps can be flipped internally to 50/80 in 20 minutes prior to install for those so inclined.

Now back to your regular scheduled programming...

I might also be interested in the lsd, that's the one that doesn't require redoing bearing clearances correct? Streetable?

R&P backlash will need to be set during the initial install. Can be done with the gearbox in place but much easier with the box out of the car. Most shops will remove the box to do this. R&I of the gearbox is usually 3hrs.

Yes, the LSD is very streetable. It's a rocking road course set up but will work great on the street... Really transforms the car and one of the most important upgrades you can do, way ahead of any power mods you could do.

What are advantages behinds rebuild 996tt manual gearbox with GT2 gears ?????? Shall i need to replace all gears 1-6 ???? Cost ????

997 gt2 gears are stronger than 996. cost is about 6k$ in parts
