only have to pass smog when i sell am in a smog when you sell county, i know the hp gain was great on a corvette years ago. maybe the 100cell cat is a good thing.and not robing hp

Removing those europipe cats will not drop it to zero! So pick a number, is it 50%...to 0.08 bar? So this 0.07bar is about 1/3 of the initial gain from going to stock- perhaps 15 HP
(And you would cut up a $3000 exhaust to get 15 more hp?)
Stef at EP would likely have the answer...send him an email.

The backpressure with a EPII is down to 0.15 bar as compared to 0.36 for stock. A HUGE difference. Steve is already at 0.15 if he has a Europipe Loud...

Got it. I still think bypass exhaust sounds better then any of the exhaust i have heard on a turbo. And the power is there. Best of both worlds, if you are like me and can live with the noise even as a DD/DE car

I've decided to go catless. My concern was smell. I've been in and around several F body and Corvettes that do not have cats. The gas smell is terrible. As I understand it this isn't a concern with our cars.

Nope its not. Then again i do have primary cats but i can still spit out flames

no ecu won't/should not throw a code if you go catless as long as you keep the sensors plugged into your "pipe".
exhaust flow is directly related to spool time attributes of the turbo units. Since ECU is using waste gates to control boost its naturally able to take advantage of more "free" flowing exhaust. If you remap you can add more boost, fuel, and advance ignition timing further. Having a more free flowing exhaust will help widen the added power production across the rev band. I don't know how "worth while" it is for street cars since your not competing. This mod could just be "louder" than it is beneficial. We're talking 50-300rpm difference depending on how crazy you go.

I should also add you don't have to reflash for cats or any exhaust mods since your not altering fuel or ignition timing. Unless your uploading a new flash that has more aggressive mapping to take advantage of your extra flow. If your running 100 oct and no cats just do 2 megaphone tubes out the back and call it a day. You will be at 100% flow capacity from turbo exhaust side and your ignition tuning can be remapped for better flow available. But what's the point for all this in a street car?
