Dr_jitsu vs liter bike

hmm.... stock ... i may have to put my cash on the Doc, i just dont see how the GTR could win this . if the doc runs 1.45 bar on c 16 it wont even be fair fair the gtr ... UNLESS the docs driving is just THAT bad lol... then i dont know..lol

Yeah, I can see the GTR putting a few, maybe 5 cars on the doc, then its reel in time by the 1000' mark...doc wins by maybe a car or 2. 1st half of the track is Peters, Sean BETTER own the second half or it's lights out. If Sean misses a shift or spins...it's all over...All Peter has to do is stomp and steer...

Rob, in the last 60-130 event thread (July event) Sean mouthed off about how slow my car was. In response to him, I challenged him to a 1/4 mile race 2 out of 3 for $100, he accepted. Unfortunately, my car got broken into and I happened to sell my house and was moving that weekend, so our race got postponed. I think Sean no showed the event anyhow but it's a moot point as I wasn't going to be able to make it. We agreed to settle the bet and race in September (3rd Saturday of September, the 19th). The only stipulations to the race were: 1/4 mile, best 2 out of 3. Sean has stated he will be running race gas to which I said "sure, run what you brung..." That's the history...
I'm not sure what your health situation is but it would be cool if you could make it. I will be posting details of the event once I finalize them.
Nowwwwwwww, let's get back on topic...Sean putting 10 car lengths on a Hayabusa.
Peter
p.s. to everyone else on this thread, sounds easy huh? All Sean has to do is beat me at the light, perfect launch, perfect shifts, no spinning......oh, and not break.

This is exactly why people should never make broad-brush statements.
With only 800'ish rwhp, my car went 100-150 mph in 4.48 seconds...which is measurably faster than the any of the bikes listed in your graph.
I also beat a modified 'Busa that had previously run a 9.1 @ 155 mph with my boost turned down. I was making maybe 730-770 rwhp or so with 2 people in the car. I raced many N/A liter bikes in that car from a roll, and the only one that ever came close was the one in the video.
P-box graph and video link below.

Just to set the record straight. Even with 1000HP a stock Kawasaki ZX-10R STILL beats you, or a Veyron for that matter. With a simple pipe change, a Power Commander and custom tune, a BMC race air filter and some velocity stacks a Literbike is untouchable unless you get to the 1200 HP level.
Below you will see a Hennessy Twin Turboed Ford GT with 1000 HP .... It gets from 0 - 180 mph in 20.68 seconds... A stock ZX-10R does it in 17.21 seconds... Not even close. Due to sheer Horsepower and better aeordynamics, a Car will pass the Bike above 185 MPH.
If you have a Car with less than 1200 HP and you beat a Liter Bike, you didn't beat the Bike, you beat the Rider.

1/4 mile is about ET, not MPH. If a higher HP car screws up and spins, misses a shift, slower car wins...period. 1/4 mile is 95% driver, 5% car...

I have run Modded GTR's and know Dr.J 's car will destroy a stock or even a modded GTR ..now a turbo upgraded GTR is a different story.
Regardless the terms of the bet is Peter and Dr's choice ...
