Those are good points, MKW.
I do feel at odds with the super stiff ssk and the feather light touch of everything else. Maybe the undercar kit is the best compromise in the long run.

Just some feedback...the 5-4 shift is absolutely no problem with the in-car B&M; pull the gear lever straight down into neutral and let the spring action line the shifter up directly over 4th. There is no overshoot at all to the left, over 2nd gear. You have to physically move the shifter to the left, against the spring force, to get it over 2nd gear.

As for the weighting of the individual controls and how they match up to each other individually, I agree with you. The more they're all the same , the better the driving experience. My opinion though is that the clutch is really the only control that is "light" in my car. The brake pedal is "firm", the steering is "heavy" with the AWD, and the ride and cornering is "hard" with X73. So a shifter that feels as solid as bolting a rifle matches up pretty well with the persona of those controls. So in my car, four out of five "controls" match each other, and those four also match the ride/cornering ability of the car.

Results may vary.

Dock, you would love the C-GT. The clutch is nice and firm. Then it would be 5 for 5 controls matching. I think that is only a $300K upgrade.
