Airbag fault warning

For no appaerant reason my car issued an airbag warning on the display. Is this typically a sensor issue?

I just had this happen. It said air bag failure. I took it to the dealership (CPO) and the code said that I had a power interruption. They reset it and looked at the seat belt connections but they could not find anything and it has not happen since.

This is a common problem. I have it too. Sometimes it's the seat belt buckle. Do a search to find out more on this.

It can be many things if you look at this list. But probably only a reset will erase the message as per "bdb". In any cases you have to get the code retrieve and evaluated.
