They are certified pre-owned . he didn't run them much, only enough to break his clutch. I should get them next week. So, I'll be running street tires saturday.

 

Don't waste your time going to the drag strip with street tires with a 600whp car...

Hey John, I tore it up on your track Saturday. Only 4 cars showed up among all those bikes. had a lot of fun.

 

I hope it's cooler in Texas in October. I want to see all these cars at their maximum performance, and don't want anyone to recite pages from the book of excuses...

This will be the biggest 60-130 that I've been a part of. Should be a good showing of Corvettes and Mustangs as well.

Yea, I'd really like to see a Z06 go sub 7 seconds. I've never seen a big HP Vette hook long enough to run a good 60-130.

 

I didnt hook but I beat the sub 7 mark, hopefully if I make it out there with the car I will see mid 4's maybe?

Todd, IIRC Matt's Vette ran a 5.2 spinning down the track with 2 slower shifts. That same pass netted him his 10.7 @ 148mph w/ a 2.0 60ft.
