My New 996TT
After a good 3 weeks after my first porsche test drive and a bunch of research. Started with a 2002 silver c2 test drive and after reading about IMS failure and values n prices i decided a turbo was where i needed to be n just the fact that i love boosted cars. So i test drove a couple cars in the Houston area 2 50k + cars and one was a POS that he wanted 50k for and the other was a nic car with 58k miles at momentum porsche bone stock drove good but just could not take it home i didn't say buy me price was good though.
so i checked out another members car on here n it was nice but i really wanted a car that had some mods.
so i found this one on ebay and made a bid 1k cheaper then they wanted and wesettled somewhere in the middle at 44,9. had to finince this car and the credit union was not playing fair so i had to fly to WA sign papers n such and then fly out to Spring Field MO to pick up the car.
had a PPI done and a compression test done on the car and took a couple test drives.

B&M SSK with billet shift link

new Advan tires
all this on a new bottom end with pauter x-beam rods
new clutch and bunch more mods. (4k miles ago)
car runs great have an issue with the oil pressure sending unit guage is wacky think there is some trash in it maybe from case sealant.
can runs pretty quick but i need to have the tune looked at just want to make sure its running good n no chances of it going south.

already put a 1000miles on it in 4 days and another 2k next week as i work my way to CA and drive up the coast to WA

im staying in humble right now, but pretty open if ya'll are getting together not working right now. ill be at cars n coffee saturday then next week taking off for the west coast in the car.

Thanks, akram is looking for some history on the car through EVOMS and talking with Protomotive to see about getting me a tune on the car that i feel comfortable with isnt runnign too lean.
runnign about 1.0 bar to 1.1 bar in tx heat

Call Steve at driver source. 281.497.1000. He has done work on a few of the Houston guys cars and I think you'll find he's more than helpful. He can do it all.

Steve should be able to get you setup with clear bra though with another Steve who works out of Driver Source. Call Steve on his cell 281.841.2798 tell him Ben told you to call I guarantee he'll take care of you. Sorry about the confursion.
