For those voting they would not mod their car again but would keep it stock...why do you feel that way?

should also put the option "would have waited 18 months and picked up a used car with 5K miles and save $50K"

17,000 miles with stage 3/4, all this year, not a single hiccup. From Las Vegas been to California, Oregon, Washington, Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Tennesse, Arkansas, Mississippi...did I miss any? In the hot, cold, rain and snow.
Wouldn't change a thing. Some on other threads on this forum have knocked Porsche, can't imagine doing this in another car at this level. Man, it's like driving a video game...better.

My Reason

I put the upgrades in for the track but have come to the conclusion that the only person I compete against at the track is myself. I go to drive the vehicle at its limit - by upgrading I just made the limit fast - not harder. I can understand why people drive Minis, Mazdas, Vettes and everything else - it's the challenge of doing the best you can with what you have. Beating another car because you put another $20K into your car doesn't make you "better" - just someone with more disposable income.

Another expensive lesson for me. Hopefully, since my son reads this board, he'll learn from this.
