So what else did you do to your suspension? Just coil overs?

You would, they are excellent shocks. Designed for and at nordschleife. They are superb for all events, but the outmost of hardcore applications.

Personally I disagree about the PSS9's on track. My car would bounce too much on the PSS9's because the spring set is too soft for the turbos weight on track. You could have them re-valved and re-sprung like Mikelly did, which works, I have ridden in his car, or go to a different brand that can include stiffer springs, which is what I did.

That's why you need 10's . Now seriously, 10's have soft helper springs which soak small potholes on the roads, then there are master non progressive linear master springs which are superb for all but smoothest of tracks when speeds picks up. Set 10’s on 10 and the car is rock-hard – too hard for the road. Also, I don’t think car needs to be rock-hard for track, sometimes slightly softer works better. And also don’t forget 911’s soft nose – front, is sometimes mistaken for soft springs. 911’s are floaty and light at the front and you just have to get used to it. Beyond this we are into different tracks, needing different set-ups, where everything gets a whole lot more complicated. 10’s for me are perfect all round value for money set-up. If you are chasing last few seconds on tracks, then I would think of something else – talk to track junkies on this board.
