Tim, glad to see another MI member buying local. We should get together for the last weekend or two at MMM and see what we can break! Congrats, I love mine as well. I know excatly what you are saying about the linear feel. A great all around turbo in my opinion... Tial should have a homecoming for all their Alpha cars!

you mentioned you hit full boost at 3.8k rpm
how does this compare to the old 20gs?

What made you chose the 30s over the 28s that are also available?
Were the 28s ever a consideration for you, or did you look straight to the A30s?

the 20g's hit full boost around 3500rpm

i really wanted the 30s for the 60lb/min wheel compared(great for hwy pulls to the 48lb/min 20g's

did you ever find your boost leak??

Tim, you gotta run some 60-130's when the weather cools down a bit +Rep points for new turbos.

I found a leak in one of my intercoolers

One of the cores had completely given way which explains why my pressure gauge wasn't giving a reading

I've got a new OEM intercooler ordered for a good price so I'm hoping that'll sort it out when it arrives on Tuesday

I might have other smaller leaks but can't tell for sure until I get the new IC on

from todd at protomotive the complete turbo set up is $4800 and if you are already running a proto tune the custom tune recal for the new turbos is $365
