Thanks Mark, That was all I was looking for. I am trying to maximize my 18G's before I give them up. Having just run a 6.01 with them, it's hard to do a big upgrade like this and "only" pick up 3 or 4 tenths. I think I have another tenth or 2 in these turbos. I'm very sure the potential for your turbos is greater with addtional supporting mods like intercoolers, more fueling, etc... Thanks again Mark...

A word of caution though.... and this is by no means a negative statement....So please just follow me thru...
the 60 to 130 is a good test... but I believe other tests like 1/4 trap speeds and maybe a dyno along with that really tells a fuller story... and just because a certain set up runs well in one test it does not mean it does well in another... look at my car 2 years ago.. it ran mid 4s 60 to 130s... yet there are stronger cars with faster mph in 1/4 but could never beat the 60 to 130... likewise... I have a car that trapped mid 4s but did only a 9.9 in 1/4.... etc etc... my car ran almost 120 mph in 1/8th but trapped only 145 mph on that run... etc etc.... meanwhile other P cars that ran faster in a 1/4 then mine barely hit 115 in the 1/8th...
This turbo does 700 rwhp (minimum from 4600 rpms to redline and in our case it's 7400) at 1.4 bar.... In the 1/4 the trap speed would blow away any 18g or 20g.,.. that I know as well... its really in a different class.. and I do not mean it in a negative way... heck, my partner was the one who actually put the first 18g and 20g together years ago... so I do not have anything bad to say about the 18g...
Bobby ran a 9.9 4 years ago in a 1/4 on a 20g... trapped 137 mph I think... Does that mean most with 20gs will run low 10s? I doubt it.
My goal is to give the best power over the rpms range... no leaded gas nor any other trickeries for a affordable price... we have tried many different turbos over the years... many of which we never even uttered a word....
You are right.. these turbos are by no means maxed out... actually, they are tuned down... Bobby's friend made 932 rwhp on a built 993tt at 27 psi.
The compressor wheel is def. lighter then a 3076r wheel.. that I know. Most 3076r cars would have a hard time doing a sub 6.0 so whatever you did/have seems to be working well.
best,
mark

Mark, do you all have parts to convert the exhaust flange to a normal Porsche exhaust flange? I know most of the customers, like Nick, have custom exhaust where you can modify the flanges without a problem because their exhaust is built for their car. What about the people who have like Switzer, Europipe, etc. where they have $3500-$4500 in exhaust and don't want to ruin it so it only works for their cars.
Regardless those numbers are insane and I'm glad you got your sponsorship! You've helped so many people on this forum its not even funny. You've given me plenty of insight on my car when it has a problem; without even charging a dime.
Is there a chance Bobby's GT2 or 993 will make it to the mile this year? If not do you all have any customers going? *Cough* *Cough* Nick!!! Get your *** down here man if you aren't that busy around those times, even if you are here to spectate! Plenty of beer here to drink at night LOL!

we ran actually some 4s as well but thats not on unleaded gas and at higher boost.... ( not recommended on stock bottom end). Thus I will never advertise that this set up runs 4s...

Good luck on the shoulder surgery man! Hope you have a quick recovery from it! Maybe you can make it down for TX2K10 so we'll have a lot of Porsches running the drag event. It was only Titan and I last time.
