Big Game Hunting in Goliad

I gotta run you Rob. But you've got to let me jump.
How about 1100+ Torque at 5500 rpms and 1100+ RWHP at 7600 but I think we can do alot better just did not have the time. Unfortunately, Todd only had one day open for my car :-( The other bench mark car to compare my numbers is EVOMS which put down 1037 AWHP at 7700 and 770 lbs of torque at 6700.

Thanks for the congrats but I think we are after two different goals. My goal is to have a fast mexican freeway killer and your car is the legitimate top speed rocket. But it will be fun to watch you break some new records and I hope to break a few hearts with my little six cylinder out on Highway Mexico. The boost was at 31 pounds then ran into more trouble and would need atleast two more days at Todd's to fix. Do not have the funds or the time to leave my car at Protomotive.
Good luck
Robert

Why are you so negative? When you were having your troubles with UMW build, did I say something to make you this way? The numbers on a dyno do give insight on how your car will behave, for example I am building my car for acceleration thus I am building a motor with exceptional torque. Does this make sense to you? Additionally, I think we should add some other goals to race for at the mile. Lets see who can do 0 to 100, 0 to 150 and lastly who can do zero to 200 mph the fastest?
Peace

As for your 0-whatever, sounds like a good thought Look forward to seeing you at the mile. Negatively yours, KPG

Geebus Robert! I want a ride in the car then soon! I'm going to be in the Woods maybe next weekend, in the Jeep-a-thon though (my daily driver). Maybe we can meet up somewhere.
My car has a few cars in front of it, but it will be done soon. I cannot wait. They are going to be doing a few other things probably while it's out so when I finally build the motor all I will need is the motor and nothing else!

Rob, why don't you just do the mile? you can get all of the numbers (60-130,0-200, etc) in a safe environment & not get arrested

Congrats Rob.. you deserve it just like the others.... now get the car ready for the road... new DRs, check the suspension.... and learn the car... Do not think that the car will drive by itself.. It will not... Get a P box and figure out where the car feels the best.. shift points etc... Get used to it and be safe... this is not a joke... My car shifted 2 lanes over first time I got on it...
your car should do well... but getting it there is half the battle...
If you plan on running the mile make sure ur ready... talk to someone that has done it....
good luck,
mark

If you dont show the dyno, how can anyone verify the numbers are true. I hold myself to this standard.

Topgun,
I am planning to run my car at the mile, but if you have never been to Goliad it is not the most exciting place to be. Thus, I am trying to add some more fun to the mile by adding other competitive events like 0 to whatever. If you see some of the speed demonds there you will know that they are not the fastest of the line. This will give the average (daily driver) car a chance to compete for other goals beside top speed in one mile. Hence, whose car is fastest to 100 mph,150 and 200. I think this would make Todd from Vivids very happy. Lastly, after hours in Goliad and sorrounding areas is nonexistent thus a perfect opportunity for some of the famous mexico runs??
Cheers and thanks
