I agree with Arling -- it's not normal. My GT2 never made any "bad" braking noises. A friend did have a strange noise coming from the rear of his GT2 under braking (a deep groaning sound), and it turned out to be a bad PCCB rear rotor (inside rotor surface was cracked -- car needed to be inspected on the lift to see the rotor damage). It was replaced under warranty.
OOPS jack i think i confused u

i mean my PCCB is too quiet beyond normal. i know u surpose to hear some squeaky sound out of it.

i gonna go back to dealer though cuz i saw tiny crack on one of the rotor

Just brake later and harder, and the noise will go away.

Try it, you'll like it!

A slight graoning/moaning sounds seems to be the norm. However, I do notice they can sound down right nasty if stuck in stop and go traffic for a while. The nastiness usually goes away once the pads get scrubbed by braking from speed. New front pads also helped.

FYI.. the yellow sport pad for the PCCB's have now been replaced by a black/white sport pad in early 04.
