I just found this on Ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Porsc...s#ht_500wt_956. Do you only need a GT2 clutch master cylinder clutch spring and a GT2 slave cylinder to do the mod with this bracket? $650.00 ???? Anyone done this method?

 

Appears to the the exact same bracket as the evoms kit. If all the other parts are factory porsche I don't see how there would be a difference.

 

If you look at the picture of the EVOM kit, the parts are

Clutch slave cylinder : 99611623790 $120.00
Clutch master cylinder: 99642317106 $60.50
Clutch pedal spring: 99642308119 $57.00
The hose ??? Where to get this line ????
Line Caps and pins ????
Oil tank cap: can be found anywhere....
DOT 4 ATF Oil can: $10.00

I already send an Email to the seller of that bracket and I am waiting for the list of parts needed.

Strange but this project looks like feasible and at a low cost...

 

Looks like the line is from the reservoir tank to the master? (there's a barbed fitting on one end?) If so, any brake fluid compatible hose can be used. Its not under any pressure.

 

I think I just found a hose in the parts cat item #15. 996 423 377 90 $116.50 so the total excluding the caps $364.00 + bracket $199.00= $563.00 !!!
