Dario
WE TALKED ABOUT THAT ALREADY.. yes they could the only thingthey need is a donor hood to make the pattern from...

and a few people that would eb willing to be the guine pigs for the project.

I'd still like to see them do something w/ the edges, straight cut edges look like crap IMO. But you guys are the ones buying them.

I'm sure that if you wanted rolled edges they could make them for you also and it'd probably be less expensive than the competitors

Yellow and black are good contrasting colors... it would look sick if you had black wheels to match!

Joe - You have such a nice color and finish to your paint the lapis that is - The car looks really awfull with that hood man.

If it was a race car or soley a track car or all done up like sharky's Akkurat car then I understand - but it looks now like a honda with bondo and you did not have the extra cash to paint the hood - You know I am a fan of yours bud so I am not taking shots at you - just thought you would want an honest opinion -

You have a great looking coupe - please get it back to normal!

Darren-- That's the beauty of motorsports, each persons car is their canvas! If we didn't customize our cars, they'd all look the same...

duely noted DARREN I appreciate you comments and your honesty thatis why i love this board so much

the hood is still not done.. i got afew more tricks up my sleeve.. if i Do keep the C2 i'll be laying a nice layer of candy apple blue on top of the cf hood to give it a blueish hue to make it better blend on the lapis blue paint..

if i do end up getting a turbo ill just put it on .. i can always have lucent take it off when i get tired of it.

i appreciate allyour comments keep it coming

it's not even a question of whether the hoods should be painted or not, it is a must. the thing looks incomplete, even side view mirrors or wings for that matter. needs paint or they start to look cheap.

however...joe i do think it looks good on blue cars ^_^
wilber's protomotive (or tyson's)... has it b4... and it certainly looked good...
but for yellow... the contrast is a bit too much for my taste...

nope, an absolute mistake. it looks un-finished and doesn't "fit" the car. would possibly make sense on an acura or honda with a tall wing and stickers all over it. don't do it man , the car looked so good with the original hood....you must hear us on this one, the majority of those telling you that it looks good are being nice. if you don't believe me, ask them if they would do it to their cars.

loved it the way it was.
