from what i read, the plug is not straight forward because it can go in, in more than one way. install posts suggest making a note before disconnection. the details are in these links

Thanks for the DIY but it won't help solving the problem after the install.

Same here,

I scavenged/kept the wires from my factory seats and used them
for my GT3 seats.

I still have airbag code and have tried to clear it with Durametric and it
has not worked. Wross when you wake up do tell

Yea, maybe PIWIS is the only one that works, the other 2 didn't.

mr. woodTster...if the fault still exists then none of the THREE methods will clear it...fix the dang thing first (after you wake up I guess), then clear the code...DOH!

and Larry, the DIY could be helpful as the OP may have installed the cables wrong...like others...LOL

My guess is if it is not improper wiring, short in the wires, it may be a bad buckle...
